The Details

SkoolSpot provides a central, secure platform for employers to engage their new hires throughout the long relocation process. SkoolSpot's onboarding and training platform aligns the 4 critical elements of international onboarding; Training, Support, Documentation, and Reporting. 

Hiring Managers and Management can deliver online training and preparation, receive important, highly-sensitive documents securely, connect new hires with peers and receive critical insights into the new hire's engagement in the relocation process. All in one spot.

New hires engage and feel supported in their relocation by (1) learning about the visa process and collecting documents for the country they are moving to (2) securely send personal, sensitive documents online for visa processing (3) meet and engage in the online community of employees at their new place of employment, and (4) receive training and preparation for their new position and living in their new country.

The Founders

Ash Pugh - Ash has 15 years of experience in the international education space. Prior to launching SkoolSpot, Ash directed the operations at a leading international teacher recruitment firm. He identified and led their expansion into new markets and helped grow the operation from a handful of committed educators in Toronto, to leading a global team of 100 across 5 countries and placement of over 10,000 teachers globally. In 2014, Ash was asked to join the recruitment committee of the International Task Force on Child Protection, which authored the globally accepted recommended recruitment practices for international schools. In 2017, Ash was elected to serve as an Accreditation Commissioner with the Middle States Association of Schools (MSA) in the United States.
Ash holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

2) Rebecca Young - Rebecca is a certified teacher from Australia with 9 years of intl. teaching, recruitment, digital product management, and marketing experience. Rebecca has taught in several countries and applied her knowledge of the international education market to launch a digital solution for a leading international teacher recruitment firm. Rebecca has designed recruitment and onboarding solutions for +300 international schools in +30 countries through the ongoing development of a digital recruitment platform solution.
