The Founders

Yudi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Nu, and a student studying Software Engineering and Business at Ivey. She has experience starting companies with the Ontario Summer Company Program and W5 Accelerator in the past. Additionally, she recently completed the Master the Entrepreneurial Skillset Masterclass where she was one of seven businesses out of 2500 participants selected to pitch her business to investors at the end of the course. “I am determined to make Nu a success - as a nationally ranked competitive swimmer, I KNOW I can thrive in the early mornings, late nights, and hard work dedication that comes with running a business.”

Dong Mei Bai is Yudi’s mom, and the other co-founder of Nu. She was an engineering university professor in China prior to immigrating to Canada and starting her own business. “It took grit and guts to immigrate to Canada alone with my young daughter. I had to start my own business because no one would hire someone who didn’t speak English. I am thrilled for Nu to be the next step in my entrepreneurial journey. ”
