Pretty much everyone’s using AI at work — so if you’re not, you might be falling behind. This summer, Google surveyed 1,005 leadership-oriented knowledge workers between the ages of 22 and 39. It found that 93% of Gen Z and 79% of Millennials are using at least two AI tools a week. While it didn’t have data on older age groups, what younger people use at work usually catches on with everyone else. So if you’re behind on the AI bandwagon, here are two great ways to use it. First, AI chatbots are great for brainstorming — whether you need fresh ideas for a product name or ways to show you’re making an impact at work, AI can help you think of new angles. Second, you can use AI to take care of routine tasks like drafting emails or summarizing reports. Just remember: don’t overdo it. AI is a tool to help you work smarter, not to replace your skills. The key is to use it to boost your work and expand your skill set — not to avoid working and learning altogether.
