Google has confirmed that a leak of over 2,500 documents about its search algorithm are legit, lifting the veil on one of tech’s most closely guarded secrets. A lot of people were ticked off because the leak contradicted things Google has said about data it uses, but for some working in SEO, that wasn’t a surprise.
